Abstract

The objective of the research was the definition of guidelines and Human-Centred project requirements for an innovative and design-oriented medical device aimed at:

  1. increasing the levels of usability and safety of use by users and the quality of the user experience (User Experience);

  2. aesthetic and functional innovation of the devices;

  3. component and topological optimization;

  4. optimization of the choice of materials and production technologies about the aspects of feasibility, sustainability and commissioning about the hypothesized production volumes;

  5. evaluation of production customization opportunities based on production/sales 4.0 technologies.

The result of the research was the development of an innovative medical device "AUTO-DAT and related GUI for serum agglutination test.
