Abstract

The EDIDesK project "Open Access Contents on Design for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion for Higher Education Programmes" (Erasmus+ program KA220-HED) aims to improve Design teaching practices in the area of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) within the European higher education system through the use of inclusive digital tools and the development of new multilingual and open-access educational content.

The project addresses a key issue for the EU creative industry sector: training and equipping future generations of European graduates with new skills in the field of Design for EDI.

The project promotes collaboration between partners to produce original results, both digital and intellectual, sustainably and inclusively. The main activities of the project include: the collection and systematization of existing knowledge related to Design teaching and EDI; the creation of a European educational framework on Design for EDI, providing clear guidance for university study programmes; the creation of an open-access digital learning platform where students and teachers will be able to access multilingual content related to Design for EDI, including modules, lessons and seminars; and finally promotion and dissemination activities of the results with national and international stakeholders.
